(Sofia).- CT Gaming's Rossi McKee, a leading advocate for responsible gaming, highlighted the Responsible Gaming Foundation's initiatives and Eastern European regulatory trends at SiGMA East Europe.

CT Gaming vice president Rossi McKee took center stage at SiGMA East Europe this week to spotlight the crucial work of the Responsible Gaming Foundation. A passionate advocate for safer gambling, McKee founded the Foundation and used her speech in Budapest, Hungary to emphasize its initiatives and the growing importance of player protection in Eastern Europe.
One of the Foundation's key initiatives is the On Focus: Responsible Gaming campaign, designed to assist operators in complying with new regulations while prioritizing player safety. McKee delved deeper into Eastern European gaming regulation, particularly Bulgaria's recent advertising restrictions, which she noted are indicative of a broader trend towards stronger player protection measures in the region.
Emphasizing the importance of tailoring regulations to local markets, McKee stated, "When implementing regulations, especially concerning safer gambling measures and player protection, the specifics of the local market should be taken into account."
The panel discussion also explored how similar regulatory frameworks could be effectively adapted across different cultural contexts in Eastern Europe and the Balkans, emphasizing the need for collaboration among regulators, operators, and industry stakeholders to ensure that responsible gaming becomes a cornerstone of the industry's growth strategy.
